ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Travis serves as Territory Sales Manager for Hi-Speed Industrial Service, covering territory spanning north central Arkansas. His number one priority in this role is to build valuable relationships with each customer while delivering custom solutions that keep them up and running.

 

PREVIOUS EXPERTISE
Travis is an experienced sales manager with demonstrated success in various industrial fields including energy, oil, gas, pulp, paper, and now industrial services. His career in sales began at a young age. In fact, during his college years, Travis sold flatbed trailers and other farming equipment and also interned at the papermill where his father had worked for 30 years, all while earning his degree. Travis is a third-generation cattle farmer and has farmed his whole life. Due to these early life experiences, he has always felt comfortable around machinery and equipment, a quality that still serves him and his customers well today. After graduating college, Travis served as a district sales manager for Priefert. He went on to serve as an MWD engineer at Halliburton; senior production technician for Southwestern Energy; district sales representative for Nalco Champion, an Ecolab company; account manager for Solenis and then Layne, a Granite company and, just prior to joining Hi-Speed, he worked as a territory sales manager for reliability services at RelaDyne.

 

EDUCATION AND INDUSTRY INVOLVEMENT
Travis earned his B. S. in Agricultural Business and Management from Arkansas Tech University. He is certified as a Level I Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA) by the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML). In addition, he has been a certified EMT since the age of 18 and volunteers as a captain with the volunteer fire department, having completed Firefighter I and II courses.

 

WHAT SETS HIM APART
Originally from Morrilton, Arkansas, Travis says he considers himself “an educated country guy.” He notes, “I have a degree, I have a farm, and I have a lot of expertise with people, machinery, large equipment and successfully managing resources.” Travis and his wife, Karrie, live in Plumerville, Arkansas with their two dogs, a blue heeler and a Weimaraner. In his free time, Travis enjoys working on the farm, going to racetracks, going to the lake on the weekends, watching Arkansas Razorbacks football, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
